How do you all feel about Google Maps showing where you live? The way the site is now, it does not ask your street address. It only knows your City etc. So when the Google Maps come up, it can only indicate your city and nothing closer.
If you are a business on here you probably want people to be able to find you down to the street level. I could add a Street Address to your profile to make that possible. But I can also see many people not wanting the parked location of their car showing up on the map.
A good compromise might be to make the street address optional (actually the whole address is optional). That way you can reveal as much information as you are comfortable with.
Along the same lines, these sites usually ask for a birthday. Then the site can tell you happy birthday and remind your friends to buy you a gift. I left that out initially as I'm not sure it has anything to do with driving. But I could put it back in as optional...
I am concerned about making everybody comfortable.

No problem with City & Google Maps. No problem with birthdays - as long as they are optional. Even address - if you list it, anyone can find it.
If you don't like it, just leave it blank! |

You can always go by postal code ... that gets you pretty close, without actually pointing at your house. |
