Wow! We've had a good season overall. After six events I'm sitting in seventh spot overall and Katie, my daughter, is in 8th. As a novice driver, Katie is second overall. The competition in Touring 1 is quite hot, so we're probably sitting at 3rd and 4th in class. The big news is that this past weekend she literally blew me away. Mid-day her 1:47.6 time at Mosport GP was 3 seconds faster than I've ever driven my 1.6 litre 1992 Nissan NX1600. I managed to close the gap by posting a 1:49.1, but I couldn't catch my little girl! We compete in T1 class and have two more events left in our CASC-OR solosprint season at Shannonville. We cannot make it to the Nationals at Atlantic Motorsports Park.
