My daughter has done lapping days for the past three years. This year I planned to let her do a SoloSprint school and maybe one other event. She was so ready for this that I'm putting her into most of the season - and I'll figure out how to pay for it ... eventually.

Katie's 258 and white helmet (forgot to switch #s in one session) and I'm 259 and red helmet.
After 4 events Katie is fourth in the overall Novice Championship!

Here are some photos from MIR on July 4 and 5. My time was 111.041 and Katie's was 112.524. Please note that this is in our 1992 Nissan NX1600 with a GA16DE engine that puts out 97.4 HP on a Dynapack Hub dyno.

Katie's Mosport time dropped to 107.625 - besting my personal best of 109.164 - and she went on to finish the season fourth in class, fourth novice, and 20th overall. At the CASC-OR Awards Gala she received the Muriel Knap trophy.
