Can you believe it. I think it's a stunt. I still think it's a bunch of diffrent people. His mannerisms are all wrong. Though I guess he can drive okay. |

Who knows, after all those seasons, they might just have been able to afford him! I liked the comments regarding his Ferrari run prior to the unveiling (unhelming?). That said and seen, we may never find out who the Black Stig was, he's been lost at sea ever since he attempted to launch a Jag off the HMS Invincible's flight deck! |

Black Stig is known. He revealed himself in his memoirs so they killed him off. "The character was retired around the time he was identified as British racing driver Perry McCarthy." I'm certain Schumacher is not the Stig. Though he certainly was the one driving the Ferrari. For one his facial expressions and body language were all wrong. Best theory for me is Ben Collins as the Stig. When Richard Hammond crashed the rocket powered dragster, Collins was listed on the Police accident report. He also does a lot of other work for the BBC. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ben_Collins_(driver) I suspect there have been other guest Stigs but I'm of the belief that Colling is the Stig most of the time. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/4286448/Who-is-the-Stig-The-answer.html Suzanne has a theory that Lewis Hamilton has often been the Stig. She sites the episode with him as the Star in the Reasonably Priced Car. On a wet track he puts in a better lap time that several F1 legends can do on a dry track. Talent is not enough to get you there. You would need a lot of practice. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/culture/tvandradio/4364873/Top-Gears-The-Stig-played-by-eight-drivers.html |
