BMW Club shirts for September 11th weekend
I'm designing the shirts for the September 11th Trillium school and Club Race.
If you have any design suggestions or ideas you'd like to share, I would be very interested.

I figure that you have collected plenty of t-shirts over the years and the poor ones quickly turn into rags in the garage.  So, if you want a keeper shirt, share your ideas with me.

Keep in mind that we do have somewhat of a budget, so the Kevlar jackets are out!

Less is more. A clean dark shirt (black, dark gray or navy) with tone on tone stitched logo's would be tasteful and might actually get worn. I'd rather have a high quality T shirt than a low quality polo.

As an alternative, why do we always get T shirts? What about a tire tote in standard black/gray with club logo or something like that?

I'd use it.

The shirts I wear over and over are the ones that are well "visually designed". i.e. they graphic design is clean and professionally done. Most track stuff is ugly as sin so it's relegated to the garage. GVC BMW usually has nice stuff. Tarheel BMW is also very good.

So find a "pro" graphic designer to do the design. Then print it on a good quality cotton T-shirt. I actually prefer a light shirt. I could never figure out why we keep getting black shirts for hot summer days. I'd rather feel cool with dirty marks than look clean and sweat to death.

See if Pierre can design you something. His designs usually look nice.

Buckeye BMW (Ohio) usually does neat non-shirt gifts. I got a small Buckeye Maglite flashlight I still use. They also gave me one of the nicest auto coffee mugs I have ever seen. I still use that too. I've had them 3 or 4 years.
