Online Retailers

I thought it might be worthwhile compiling a list of online retailers people like to use (or not, as the case may be), and recount good/bad experiences so others can decide whether they would like to do business with them.

First, a list of retailers I have personally done business with and have had good experiences:

www.turnermotorsport.com

www.bimmerworld.com

www.pegasusautoracing.com

www.hrpworld.com

www.tirerack.com

www.bobwoodmantires.com

www.hmsmotorsport.com

Other retailers I have marked in my Favorites but not yet done business with:

www.vacmotorsports.com

www.bmw2002.com

www.bmpdesign.com

www.evosport.com

www.roadracetech.com

www.uucmotorwerks.com

www.driversedgeautosport.com

www.gmpperformance.com (I actually placed an order with these guys yesterday, so I should have an experience to relate soon)

Got my pistons from VAC via Bimmerworld. Highly recommended! HMS is great for safety gear - as are CSC Racing. Joe Marko at HMS is a renown North American expert on safety gear. CSC is local, and has a great selection in store to confirm sizing and fitment.

Raven did my cage - and I was complemented on it at Sebring Winterfest tech.

Tires come via Mike at 24 Hour Tire, Niagara Falls NY. He's a drag racer, and an authorized Tire Rack installer. He's cheaper than Tire Rack for Hoosiers, can get Toyos, and has no issues installing anything you order elsewhere.

Of couse, for the CTCC series, we get our Toyos locally from Toronto Tirecraft. You can't beat the at-the-track service, and appreciate everything Jeff does for us!

Techmax does the mechanical work that I can't. They know their engines!

Bimmerworld has been a great source of knowledge and parts.

Bimmerworld is great. Especially if you need anything Ground Control for a BMW. The best way to get that stuff.
Turner is a good source of stuff, as well.

If I lived within reasonably close driving distance from either of these two organizations I'd still be pimpin' an M3 at the track. It's so comfortable to bring a car to a shop and not have to teach them about how the parts you want installed fit on the car.
