Weight balance, shocks, LeMons
I am running an e30 325i at LeMons this year.  After stripping the car, we suspect that it is light in the back, although in the tradition of LeMons, we haven't actually weighed it.

The car is loose (tail out, yeehaw) under acceleration. The track is Stafford Springs CT. It's a 0.8 mile course with an infield and one end of a 1/2mile oval. There are some transitions, some rough pavement and the banked oval where we pick up whatever speed we pick up. I think it was actually 3rd gear.

Any ideas on what we can do to make the tail stick better? This is a 14 hour enduro, so we want to keep the driver fatigue down.

Of course, we only have a very small amount of money left in our LeMons $500 kitty. (Take those budget limits F1!)

I don't think we are going fast enough for a used wing off a honda civic to help.

We've been wondering about collapsing the rear springs to bring it down and reduce body roll.

We've also been wondering about  adding ballast to the rear. Put the spare tire back in?

thanks for any suggestions
john
