Introduced into the Trillium BMW Club about 10 years ago by Chris Sorensen.
Have attended numerous driving schools and events with my original '97 Eagle Talon, my Nissan Sentra Street Stock racer, Chris's BMW, and various other vehicles. One of my personal claims to fame - was completing 52 track days in a single year (2002).
I was instrumental in creating the Actionfront BMW Race Series that brought many BMW club members into CASC-OR regional racing.
From 2006 to 2009, I competed locally with my 2006 Dodge Viper Competion Coupe (aka Darthviper) and won numerous local and regional championships. Best lap time at Mosport is a 1:23 and I set a track record at Calabogie with a 2:06.593 during a Viper Racing League event last year.
I have a CASC-OR Grade A race license and have previously held an ASN Canada National license - as well as an ASN/FIA International C race license. Formerly served for 3 years as Vice President of Canadian Automobile Sports Clubs - Ontario Region (CASC-OR).
The Viper was sold in 2009 - and - after a year of careful consideration I bought a purpose-built sports racer (IMSA Lites Elan DP02)
My street ride is a Black Audi R8 - that I hope to have out on the track (for performance driving / not racing) much more this year.
Life has been very good to me and I am sometimes humbled by my success. I actively support numerous motorsport and track based charities and events.
